I can see the light at the end of the tunnel

But it might be a train coming at me... :) Well, I have five and a half weeks left in clinic. Wow! I really thought at this point in the year it would be less crazy busy and more being bored, ready to get out of school. Well, I'm ready to be done with school, but I still have so much to get done in the next five weeks! Just the other day I got an e-mail from the dental school registrar with TWELVE bullet points of things we have to do to graduate and get our license. Some of those things include getting fingerprinted, having a background check, and writing checks to the Iowa dental board. I also have to get fitted for my cap and gown - that's exciting! Graduation is on June 4th at 3 pm. It's kind of a funny time - Friday afternoon - so I don't know that many people will be able to make it. But everyone is welcome to come!
Anyway, I still have to finish up my requirements at school - I have several cases that I probably won't get done until the second or third week of May. When we complete all of our requirements, we get to ring a bell at school. It's a tradition that all of the seniors do every year. I just can't wait until it's my turn!

Tonight Aaron is in Cedar Falls so Wyatt and I are on our own. I was a bad mommy and gave Wyatt some french fries for dinner. Okay, three french fries. But he also had strawberry yogurt and cheerios, so maybe that cancels out some of the badness. And I let him pull some of the toilet paper off of the roll while I was getting him ready to take a bath. That's not so bad. And he gets so much enjoyment out of it. :) He is such a stinker in the bath tub though. He will sit and play for about five minutes, and then after that he wants to stand up and lean over the edge or pull up on the spout or pull the shampoo off of the ledge... He never stops moving!!! I keep telling him he needs to sit down in the bath tub, but he just doesn't listen. :) We did have a nice time together after his bath - I put his p.j.'s on him and then we sat and read books for a little while. He was a very good listener then... very sweet.

So, lots of rambling thoughts. It's going to be busy these next few months with school/graduation, buying/selling houses, moving, my externship, Wyatt's first birthday, and eventually starting to practice dentistry!

Do you want me to bring the entire Beehive to your graduation? Wouldn't that be a sight?!
