The first night Wyatt was not such a fan of swimming in the water - he really hasn't been swimming in a pool since he was a little baby. The second night he was jumping off the side of the pool and Daddy would catch him.
Henry really liked swimming - he would have stayed in the water more if it was warmer.
Wyatt hasn't really stayed in a hotel since he's been mobile, so this was SO much fun for him. He was bouncing off the walls the first night! He was climbing in cupboards, opening the fridge door, jumping on the bed... :)
Our room had a king size bed and then a pullout couch that touched each other when the couch was pulled out. Wyatt had a lot of fun jumping from one bed to the other! Both nights he fell asleep in our bed and then we moved him into his bed. He is a big fan of hotels! (just like his Daddy :) )
Our family picture at the zoo - I love this because we have a picture from two years ago when we went with Wyatt. It's crazy how much things can change in two years!
The Henry Doorly Zoo is so neat - they have so many different exhibits, and they had a great little petting zoo area with lots of baby goats. Wyatt was a big fan of petting the goats.
"Hello, goat!"
We took our double stroller, and sometimes Alex rode in it with Wyatt. He liked having a cool cousin to ride with. :)
The gorillas were great - they were so huge! At one of the windows, I pushed Alex and Wyatt up to see the animals and a gorilla came running up to the window and made Alex jump! It was pretty funny.
Daddy carried Henry part of the time in the Moby... he enjoyed napping and being carried throughout the zoo.
Wyatt also crashed Alex's stroller. :) Alex said it was a "really awesome zoo." And when I asked Wyatt what his favorite animal at the zoo was, he said "Grandma Muffy." :) And then when I asked him again he said the rhinos. Funny kid.
This weekend was a lot of fun, and I think we realized how much Wyatt enjoys traveling. Once Henry gets to be a little bit happier traveler, hopefully we can do a few more weekend trips like this!

I love the H.D. zoo! I can't wait til Malin is old enough to enjoy it! Looks like a ton of fun.
